Volunteer
workers, doctors, nurses, and teachers from four different countries,
Ireland, Poland, Romania, and Belgium will staff our H.U.D.T.
“Saint Faustina Educational Centre” for the longterm
homeless and sick children. The total cost of building and furnishing
the centre will be paid for by H.U.D.T.
The running costs will also be an ongoing expense of the H.U.D.T.
foundation.
The
Marie Curie Children’s Hospital, was built by the Polish Government
in 1980 as a present to the Romanian people, who had no children’s
hospital at the time. It was named after a famous Polish scientist who
discovered radiation “Marie Curie”.
In
appreciation of the work H.U.D.T. is doing
at the Hospital and in naming the new building after another famous
Polish woman Saint Marie Faustina, a number of the Polish government
attended the Consecration of the new building to the Divine Mercy. They
met with H.U.D.T and the administration
staff of the Hospital to see if they could continue to support the work
we are doing. |
